Christmas Vests - Sneak Peek

It was much harder than I expected to find non-girly fabric that would work for church quality vests.  Luckily, there was a 50% off sale on brocade. After much searching and digging, and some help from Hubby, Munchkin, and a family friend, this is what we found.

The black and brown fabrics is for the linings.  I found D rings to use for the back slide adjustment.  Of the brocades, clockwise from top left there is black with silver detail, blue with lighter blue and silver detail, golden brown with gold and orange detail, black with gold/brown and orange/brown detail, green with gold and brown detail, black with red detail, and finally red with black detail.

Now I get to practice with making three vests in varying sizes for Halloween costumes.
