Munchkin's finger is healing nicely thanks to my brother-in-law's expert care.
After one week-
After two weeks Munchkin is ready to have the stitches removed. One of the five stitches came out; during the previous night it caught on his sheets. A second one came out when the doctor was prepping the finger to cut and remove the final stitches.
Our family practice doctor told us that with hands and especially children you don't have to wait as long to have the stitches removed. Seven to ten days instead of ten to fourteen. Some even by five days.
Removing the stitches-
Munchkin's finger had some pink/thin skin after the dead skin wore off for about two more weeks. Now, only a faint scar line from the cut is seen.
