I always need it long enough to pull back somehow. I can't stand hair in my face or always tucking it behind my ears. I went shorter after having my boys, but long enough to put most of it in a pony tail. I went chin length when my daughter was a year old and it drove me batty. I invested in several headbands and it helped. I like donating my hair every so often, to mix things up.
