My Seven Year Old and His Crazy Hair

Here is Munchkin, ready for bed on his birthday:

Munchkin had asked months ago if he could shave his head. We asked him to wait until after his birthday. We also discouraged the idea of a "shiny" bald head, as this would require using a regular razor, and we didn't want to accidentally cut him (he still gets antsy with the trimmers touching his scalp). So after work the next day, this is what we did:
