As a child I had near perfect vision, around 20/15. Near perfect aside from my congenital strabismus that required corrective surgery. During my teen years the strabismus returned, but only intermittently. As a senior I was given reading glasses. After dropping out of college I didn't do as much hard studying, so the weaker eye didn't interfere much. At the beginning of my navy career I was in school for over a year and I needed reading glasses again. I was given a stronger prescription and new frames, not BCGs. I didn't like them, and after I finished my class I hardly wore them.
Now I have daily headaches, from anything like being on the computer to watching a movie. I am really sensitive to glare, so I always have sunglasses outside. Anyway, this past week I realized I have to get glasses for daily wear. I set up an appointment and started looking at frames.
Navy regulations states that "No Eccentric or faddish glasses are permitted."
Some Frames I found at Costco.
Some frames I found at the NEX.
Here are my old frames from my senior year in high school.
I stopped a different NEX later and the optician helped me find some more frames.
Which ones do you like? What do you think looks good on me?Thanks :)
