Hubby & I in our motorcycle gear. This was the last night we still owned Hubby's Midnight Special; the next day a collector from MN & AZ drove in from Phoenix to purchase it. A few weeks later we purchased our 2002 V Star 650.

Little Miss opening her birthday presents. Her birthday this year was a bit crazier than usual. It was a Friday with the usual school and work, and the ward's Pinewood Derby that evening. More to come about her special day in another post.

Our stake has very little involvement with scouts, however, our ward is slowly gaining a group as boys get old enough and many bring along younger brothers. We have an unofficial tiger cub group which we found out about just after Christmas. Munchkin has enjoyed (at least parts of) it. Here he is holding his first ever pine wood derby car. He won second place for his age group.

We finally purchased a stroller. Its not the one we had planned on. For $9 at the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society Thrift Shop how do you say no? This was taken at Pumpkin's first trip to the San Diego Zoo. We still use our Mei Tai quite often, including in the zoo, but its nice to have something to store all the extra junk you need for being away from home most of the day.

Anna, my ward does not have Scouts either. Right now that is no big deal because Kenny is only 3 but in time I want that in his life. So we are going to a new ward in a few weeks. We should have gone last year but we got to stay because our home was temporary...but not no more. So we have to go to our ward for our area.
