Little Miss opening her birthday card from Grandma:
Little Miss wanted to have a cake that everyone could eat. I have been on a no diary, no egg diet for several months due to Pumpkin's allergies/intollerances. We used a cake mix from Cherrybrook Kitchen and added raspberry extract and a bit of food color paste to get the pink, for the frosting we used shortening and Almond milk; it was also raspberry flavored.
:ittle Miss' birthday was a nice family event. She requested a spaghetti dinner and raspberry cake. As you can see in the previous picture, we only had four candles left (oops) so we made split one in two to have the five needed ones for her cake. Little Miss will be entering kindergarten in the fall. My baby girl is growing up *sniff*.
