Update

Munchkin's hand is much better. No more scabs or open wound. It is dark to light pink for the new skin, but is healing. I'll add a new picture this weekend.

Little Miss was sick for a few more days, and has completely recovered. On the day we took her into the ER we were able to finally have another priesthood holder come over and assist in a blessing in the afternoon. Within a few minutes she started to perk up and began her recovery. Prior to the blessing she was at the point of not drinking fluids, let alone not eating, and if it lasted much longer we were going to have to take her in for dehydration. I am so grateful for the priesthood.

On a side note: Hubby had some abdominal discomfort for a day, upset stomach and extra bathroom trips for two days -- this happened at the beginning of the week after Little Miss was sick. When Hubby started feeling better I had two days of upset stomach and extra bathroom trips. Honestly, I'm not going for TMI on this blog; we just thought it was probably related to what was effecting Little Miss, at least in part.

Swim lessons are going well. Munchkin is really taking off with it. After the first lesson he was able to switch to the regular pool from the children's pool. The instructor is confident in his progress and said he will swim on his own this summer. Little Miss is still in the children's pool. She is very hesitant to have her face/head get wet and that is a major roadblock to her progress. She has had issues with getting her face wet when bathing, so this is not a big surprise. With extra encouragement and time hopefully she will get used to it and be able to then learn the basics for swimming. For the summer lessons Munchkin will be in the Level 2, learn to swim program; Little Miss will be in the Level 1, preschool program. They are at the same time during the first session, which starts 22 June.
