Munchkin's bicycle accident

In early June, Munchkin had his first real accident on his bicycle.  He was going "too fast" in the alley behind our old house.  The handlebars suddenly turned; they keep working loose.  I think we waited too long to tighten them.   Munchkin suffered some bumps, bruises, and plenty of scrapes.  Ouch!

We threw out his helmet to buy a new one. If he hadn't been wearing it I know his injuries would have been worse.

Everything has healed.  The only thing you can really see is the lighter skin on his face from the scrape under his nose.  Poor kid.
