Circus Vargus performs only in the state of California. They perform under a tent and not in a brick and mortar arena.
They had clowns, jugglers, trampoline and trapeze artists, limbo dancers, dare devils and the motorcycle cage. They had a small pre-show where the kids got to practice twirling a stunt lasso, hula hooping, and balancing a peacock's feather. The only animal was a huge snake you could get your picture with. Parts of the
performances reminded me of David Letterman's Stupid Human Tricks. After all, what possesses someone to balance a Costco sized shopping cart on their chin?
Several of my co-workers, along with their families, met up and we all enjoyed the show together. Hubby 's favorites were the daredevil, the one with the spinning circle and counter balance, and clown.Munchkin 's favorite was the motorcycle riders; especially that the youngest was a world record setter at age 4. Little Miss' favorite was the trapeze; they actually did two parts, one was with swings and a hoop, the other was regular trapeze. My favorite thing was having a family day and the souvenir light up sparkle cups were only five dollars a piece.
I was a little bummed that the different acts were so short (for my expectations I suppose) and the filler acts with the main clown were just as long or longer then the attractions. The clown was funny, but I really wish the trapeze or trampoline or dance troupe lasted longer.

Sounds like it was a nice fun filled day. The last circus I went to was with Rachele and her school....it was fun but too many kids for my taste. I think more so because they did not have their parnets with them so they acted up.
